Solar thermal can be installed to provide all your hot water needs for your dairy, reducing the cost of heating hot water each year by up to 70%.

We can design, supply and install a solar thermal system that will provide the hot water needs of your dairy, drastically reducing your costs. The solar heats the water which is stored in a cylinder ready for you to use. These cylinders range from 100 litres right up to over 800 litres.

The systems are 90% efficient in summer, 75% efficient in spring and autumn, and around 40% efficient in winter. When the solar can’t provide all the heat required an immersion element is present to boost the temperature to the required level. 100% first year tax relief is offered on the cost of the system.
